Just a semi-retired guy making good-looking, functional pottery

For decades I was a full-time insurance agent and an occasional cyclist, golfer, squash player. In retirement, I've added being an occasional potter.  It keeps me busy and out of the bars.  And you get cool pottery. We all win. 

And the wheel is also hard!  Personally,  I like the less predictable nature of hand building. It means each piece is a little different  and has some characteristic that makes it unique.  That's fancy Marketing talk for pottery is hard and you can't expect perfection

I make a bit of everything and I'm always trying something new.  A lot of coffee mugs.  Some platters.  A few vases, bowls and plates.  A pineapple? A hedgehog that is also a candle?  I didn't get into this to do the same thing over and over.  You never know what is next!
